We take safeguarding very seriously in our school.  Everyone in school has a role to play in keeping children safe, although there are certain key people with particular responsibilities:

Mrs Anita Easton - Designated Safeguarding Lead
Mr William Kimber - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Mrs Jane Roach - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Mr Gav Morris - Governor for Safeguarding

Our first priority is your child’s welfare and therefore there may be occasions when our concern about your child means that we have to consult other agencies before we can contact you.  The procedures we follow have been laid down by the Southend, Essex and Thurrock (SET) Procedures (see below). If you want to know more about this procedure, or have any concerns, please speak to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (Mrs Easton) or one of the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (Mr Kimber or Mrs Roach).
